Discover a more connected careerAt Bigham Cable Construction, Inc., as a Telecom Aerial Foreman, you'll lead a dedicated aerial crew in installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead telecom systems that keep our communities connected. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll ensure all aerial work is completed safely, accurately, and in full compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. You'll operate and oversee the safe use of equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and aerial tools; guide team members on proper climbing, rigging, and installation techniques; and help maintain smooth, organized work areas that support safe traffic flow. You'll complete daily work orders, crew checks, and documentation, while also stepping up to support storm response needs when required. If you enjoy leading by example, supporting crew development, and taking pride in high-quality aerial construction, this role offers a meaningful opportunity to make an impact every day.
What you'll do
- Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, and support structures in accordance with all codes, regulations, and customer requirements
- Safely operate equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators
- Maintain safe work areas and ensure proper traffic control and flow during job activities
- Work safely at heights using climbing hooks, ladders, and approved fall-protection methods
- Use hand and power tools including wrenches, drills, and saws safely and efficiently
- Provide daily guidance, training, and support to crew members as needed
- Remain available to travel for emergency and storm-response assignments on short notice
- Complete daily work orders, crew checks, and documentation to track productivity and safety compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional) with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam resulting in a valid medical card
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified
- CDL Class "A" driver license preferred
- Routinely work with arms above shoulder level, at heights, in confined spaces, and alone in remote locations
- Routinely operate vehicles and heavy machinery, use ladders, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
- Occasionally use keyboard and mouse
