About the position: In this position, you will lead a small team while installing aluminum storefront, curtainwall, and entrance systems. Your responsibilities will include the direction and mentorship of team members and helping to ensure safety and job site policies are followed. You will work under, and be mentored by, our experienced Project Managers. To be successful in this position, you must be committed to safety and quality and have 3+ years of commercial glazing experience.
Location: Reports to our Zeeland, MI shop daily.
Responsibilities:
- Leading glazier teams in the field (typically 2 people, up to 4)
- Installation of storefront, curtain wall and entrance systems
- Installation of glass and other glazing materials
- Installation of glazed canopies, skylights, glass guardrails, mirrors, glass marker boards, etc.
- Installation of hardware and other materials associated with the above items
- Fabrication of systems as needed

Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial glazing experience
- Able to interpret blueprints
- Driver’s license/good driving record
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to safety and quality
- Able to work safely at heights (low-rise), indoors/outdoors, throughout the year
- Able to team lift and carry about 75-100 lbs
- Attend occasional paid training (e.g., safety)
