What you'll do
- Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines
- Install, setup and configure all equipment
- Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
- Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
- Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
- Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
- Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
Physical abilities & exposures
- Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces, alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.
- Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
