Company History
Allied Waste was founded in 1992 and acquired many companies two of the largest being Laidlaw in 1996 and Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. (BFI) in 1999.
We service more that ten million customers in thirty-nine states and Puerto Rico.
We have more than 25,000 employees in 700 locally-managed companies.
We have annual revenues of over $6 billion dollars.
