Company History
William R. Hunter founded Hunter Ditch Lining (HDL) in 1947. Armando Taddei purchased HDL and established Hunter Contracting Co. (Hunter) in 1961. Third generation family members Max Taddei and Amy Ostwinkle continue to lead the family businesses.
At Hunter, our primary focus is our responsibility to our community. We have been an integral part of the Southwest’s growth. Hunter continues to work closely with public and private owners developing strategies and solutions that address the construction industry’s ongoing changes.
