Our team of builders, biologists, certified LSS operators, and in-house veterinarian have over 200 years of RAS and LSS installation experience. Our experience includes the design, fabrication and installation of RAS/LSS systems for zoos, aquariums, and commercial water features across North America.
Company History
Founded in 2009, Longhorn Organics is a team of builders, biologists, certified LSS operators, and veterinarians all focused on creating and delivering unique filtration solutions. With a thorough understanding of biological design and filtration efficiencies, we provide long-term sustainability of the assets invested by a client. Animals, mechanical systems, and infrastructure create a complex system, and Longhorn Organics is committed to the team effort required by such complex projects to achieve true and lasting excellence.

Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Longhorn Organics is proud to partner in the design and construction of the most family friendly themed entertainment venues in North America. Zoos, Aquariums and aquaculture have a direct impact on positive changes to our planet. LO was a member of the project team who recently completed the Fort Worth Zoo Elephant Springs which was awarded a 2021 Outstanding Achievement Award by the Themed Entertainment Association. We were honored to do our part to create a new state of the art home for a family of endangered Asian Elephants who are thriving in their new space.
