Our mission is to enrich communities by delivering comprehensive world-class aquatic facilities and services.
We maintain multiple platforms in the aquatics industry including commercial aquatics design, construction, service, renovation, and education. In addition, we provide residential pool services in the St. Louis and Kansas City markets. With more than 53 years of corporate experience and more than 950 years of combined team experience, we have completed more than 250 construction projects totaling more than $220M in aquatic value in the past 15 years.
Company History
Founded in 1967, by James H. Bastian, Westport Pools began life as a commercial pool management company. In the 1960's we began offering service and repair of pools both to our management customers and the general public. In the 1970's, custom residential pool design and construction services were added to our portfolio. In the 1980's, commercial management customers were clamoring for a builder that had the knowledge and skills to design and build pools that were easy to operate and long lived. Westport Pools answered that call by building smaller community pools and a few local municipal pools. After building the competition pools for the 1994 Olympic Festival, the commercial construction platform began expanding into other markets throughout the Midwest. To date, we have constructed pools in more than 11 Midwest states, and we're designing pools all across the country.
